This interesting day trip will bring you a great understanding about our Imperial city of Hue in the 19th century. Highlights include: the magnificent citadel, splendid royal tombs, Buddhist pagoda, and a lovely boat ride along the Perfume River, making for a memorable day.

Get started at 9:30 am from your hotel. Walk or transfer to the boat dock for a morning cruise on the Perfume River, with views of the city and tranquil villages. A short walk up to the Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. Learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam here, then take a short ride by cyclo to visit the former Imperial Citadel. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon visit the splendid royal tombs. There are actually more than 6 tombs but we will only visit the best of them including Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Tour ends at around 5:30 pm at your hotel.
