All guides speak fluent English and have excellent knowledge of areas we will visit. The leaders also have great English. The porters may not have English skills, but there is no one who would possibly have as much knowledge about the areas we are traveling; this is one of the reasons why we use them. They have done the treks countless times and have suburb communication skills. Even though the majority are hill tibe people they all are fluent in Vietnamese and can communicate with the leaders and guides.
