Here are the normal checklist of best clothing you should bring;

- Shorts and comfortable pants

- Shirts, T-shirts and maybe some long sleeves shirts (for regions with mosquito like the Mekong delta)

- Swim suits (for beaches in Vietnam)

- Good sandles and good shoes if trekking

BUT it will really depends on where you travel to and when you travel to Vietnam, please note that the weather can be very cold during the winter in the North of Vietnam (Nov to Mar) and quite cool in the central highland (Dalat), so you would need to bring some good jackets along for this time of the year, the avarage temperature is about 15 oC but can be very cold to 3 0C.

Tip: Do not worry if you do not pack enough, there are plenty of clothing markets with good prices at almost the places you travel to.
